Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs in your phone or computer's web browser. On your phone, tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen", and it opens like an app, even without signal on site.
Where are my jobs and business details stored?
Sign in with your email and they are saved to your account, so they are on your phone and your computer and safe if you lose a device. Only you can see them. Without signing in, the job check still works and saves on that device only.
Does it work outside Alberta?
Yes. It starts with Alberta WCB rates and holdback rules, but you can enter your own WCB rate, holdback terms and HST rate for anywhere in Canada.
I'm not registered for GST. Can I still use it?
Yes. Turn off "registered for GST/HST" and your proposals and invoices won't charge tax or show a GST number.
What happens when the free trial ends?
The job check stays free forever. Proposals, invoices and your logo need Pro. You're never charged unless you choose a plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime and you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
Is this financial or tax advice?
No. It's an estimating tool. Check your own rates, tax rules and contracts, and talk to your accountant about anything you're unsure of.
